Step Aboard made its debut in 2018 in Milan, the city that inspired its first line of hair and body perfumes. HOW IT BEGAN

The project was born in 2016 in Parma, a true city of perfume, when young people of different nationalities met on an advanced perfumery course run by Mouillettes & Co. During the course, Georgiana decided to pursue a dream: to create a new way of experiencing and wearing perfume. There she met Daniele, and the two became friends, built on mutual esteem and respect. Georgiana invited him to help bring her vision to life. Together they studied the many crafts of perfumery and worked with the best professionals in the field, choosing the finest raw materials. The result is a new, contemporary way of wearing fragrance, a brand recognisable among urban citizens.

GEORGIANA MOCANU

Born on the Danube and raised in the culture of ancient Dacia, she moved to northern Italy at 19 for a high-level university education. She studied foreign languages and literature, won a scholarship and completed part of her studies in France, where she came into ever closer contact with France's refined, long-standing olfactory culture.

A lover of art history, she later worked with the Department of Prints and Drawings at the Louvre in Paris, where the great styles of different eras could guide her aesthetic choices. In the City of Light, Georgiana passionately deepened her knowledge of French perfumery, focusing on distinctive Parisian ateliers.

After specialising in international relations, she entered the fashion world, where working for several houses allowed her to get to know many creations by great French master perfumers. Georgiana believes in perfume's power to surprise and win people over, and that daring to play turns every flash of inspiration into a unique result.
