Citrine - Eau de Parfum - Zaharoff

Zaharoff Citrine Concentré Signature Eau de Parfum is the collection’s first “freshie.” Instead of using the typical oils associated with a “freshie” fragrance, we decided to create an oil around Zaharoff incense from the Signature line, using something more unconventional: clementine. Clementine is a hybrid of mandarin and sweet orange, and extracting oil from the clementine peel yields a wild orange scent with hints of lemon. We then played with sweet orange and mandarin to enhance the experience… and what an experience! CITRINE is a true citrus explosion, while remaining faithful to the DNA of Zaharoff Signature. It’s a cleaner fragrance, and the packaging shows Zaharoff Signature CITRINE was created in collaboration with Master Perfumer Claude Dir to achieve the perfect fresh fragrance. The packaging shows a slice of citrus, but on closer inspection, you can see eight rays. These eight rays represent one of the oldest symbols in East Asia: the Dharma wheel, a symbol of wisdom, knowledge, and intuition. CITRINE is a “freshie,” which means it’s light, airy, and invigorating. It was created with the specific intention of NOT being a heavy fragrance; there are six others in the collection that are exactly that. When you think of “freshie,” you think of a synthetic citrus or aquatic scent, and I didn’t want to use synthetics. With all the sameness in the world, CITRINE has been able to find its own way and stay true to the Zaharoff vision. It’s meant to be enjoyed and worn all day. The magic is in the top and middle notes, giving you an invigorating burst and transporting you to the south of France or the island of Capri!
